Brazil's L O Baptista, Schmidt, Valois, Miranda, Ferreira, Agel and Thompson & Knight LLP in Dallas and New York have helped Ouro Preto acquire El Paso Energy’s Brazilian oil and gas assets, marking the last step in the US company’s exit from the country as it seeks to concentrate on unconventional resources at home.
