Mattos Filho and Campos Mello in private equity energy buy

Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados and US firms Vinson & Elkins LLP, O'Melveny & Myers LLP, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP have advised a group of private equity investors led by Apollo Global Management in the U$7.15 billion leveraged buyout of El Paso’s oil and natural gas exploration business, thought to be the second largest ever private equity buyout of an energy company in the world.
