Machado Meyer lines up for Telefónica’s GVT bid

Brazil’s Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados is advising Telefónica for its US$9 billion offer to purchase Vivendi’s Brazil telecoms unit, GVT, as part of the Spanish company’s drive to reinforce its presence in Latin America and allay antitrust concerns.
