Lawyers split over TPP trade implications
Two weeks after 12 countries, including three from Latin America, signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade agreement, lawyers across the region have voiced their tentative support for the treaty, but continue to express concern over the lack of information about the treaty’s terms and ambiguity surrounding the TPP’s relationship with other trade agreements already in force in the region.
