LatAm PE market adapts as regional growth tapers
Private equity investment remains robust across much of Latin America, but lower economic growth in the region has changed the makeup of investors and led to a shift in strategy that favours long-term acquisitions, particularly in the health, oil and gas and logistics sectors, rather than buys driven by middle-class consumption, agreed the keynote speakers at Latin Lawyer's 6th Annual Private Equity Conference in New York yesterday.
