KKR snaps up Mexican assets in US$3.4 billion Sempra deal

Five Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP offices and Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enriquez SC in Mexico City have helped private equity group KKR buy a minority stake in US energy company Sempra’s newly launched infrastructure business for US$3.4 billion, giving it a share in Mexican energy business IEnova.
