Japanese-Peruvian consortium buys stake in sugar cane cultivator
Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas Abogados Financieros in Lima and Hogan Lovells LLP in Houston have helped Japanese-Peruvian consortium Intipuquio obtain a US$80 million credit facility from Credit Suisse to finance its acquisition of a 23 per cent stake in Cayaltí, a Peruvian sugar cane farmer in the Lambayeque region on the north-west coast.
