Itaú inks OPIC financing to expand presence in northeast Brazil

Mayer Brown LLP in New York and its Brazilian association firm Tauil & Chequer Advogados have helped Itaú Unibanco obtain US$400 million worth of financing from the Overseas Private Investment Corp (OPIC), the largest loan the development agency has ever granted in Latin America.
