Increasing sophistication in LatAm bankruptcy laws will better protect creditors, say panellists

Thanks to recent legislation, creditors’ rights are now better protected in Mexico, while the bankruptcy culture in Brazil is changing to give creditors a louder voice both before and during restructuring proceedings, said panellists at Latin Lawyer’s fourth annual corporate finance conference.
