ICSID disqualifies arbitrator in Venezuela case
For only the second time in its history ICSID has upheld a challenge against an arbitrator, made by Venezuela over a Spanish arbitrator from Baker & McKenzie in Madrid, because the Swiss Verein firm’s New York and Caracas offices are acting as claimant’s counsel in another ICSID case against the country.
