‘Ground breaking’ aviation case alters liability for Mexico’s airlines
Mexico’s Supreme Court has ruled that a convention limiting an airline’s liability for injury to passengers to be unconstitutional in a case brought against Mexican airline Aeromexico and underwriter Grupo Nacional Provincial – a ruling that has forever changed the accountability of air carriers in the case of accidents that lead to injuries or death.
