Glencore enters Brazilian ethanol market

Brazilian firm Mundie e Advogados has advised Glencore in the purchase of a 70 per cent stake in an ethanol mill owned by Rio Vermelho, representing the Swiss company's first-ever investment in the Brazilian ethanol sector. Rio Vermelho was represented by Demarest e Almeida Advogados in the deal which closed two weeks ago.
