GAEC reverses CVM suspension to close IPO

Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados and the São Paulo office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meaguer & Flom LLP have helped one of Brazil’s largest private education groups, GAEC Educação, to raise US$202.1 million through an IPO, after reversing a suspension placed on the transaction by the securities regulator, CVM.
