Former Bolivian anti-corruption officer arrested in Miami over attempted extortion

The FBI has arrested the former police chief of Bolivia’s anti-corruption unit for attempting to extort money from former Aerosur Airlines owner Humberto Roca in exchange for the dismissal of charges pressed in Bolivia, which Miami firm Diaz, Reus & Targ LLP says it will use as support for Roca’s rival lawsuit in the US.
