First Honduran PPP obtains long-term finance
Autopistas del Atlántico, a consortium comprised of Honduras’ Profesionales de la Construcción and Colombian counterpart Grodco, has hired Broad and Cassel in Miami and Gutiérrez Falla & Asociados (GUFA Law) in Tegucigalpa to obtain a syndicated loan worth US$145 million for the construction of the Corredor Turístico toll road, marking the country’s first-ever public private partnership (PPP) long-term financing.
