Ecuador fails to annul bulk of Perenco arbitration award

An International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) committee has largely upheld Bahamian oil company Perenco’s US$449 million award against Ecuador – reducing the damages by US$36 million after annulling certain findings on quantum.
