Court decision throws timing of merger filings into question
A recent Brazilian Federal Court decision has once again created uncertainty about the precise timetable for merger control notification under Brazilian antitrust law. The Brazilian Antitrust Agency (CADE) currently requires that merger control notifications be submitted no later than 15 business days after the execution of the ‘first binding document’.
