Colombia’s EPM obtains credit facility for US$1 billion water purchase in Chile

Cariola, Díez, Pérez-Cotapos & Cía Ltda has helped Inversiones y Asesorías Corvina (IAC), a Chilean affiliate of Colombian water and electricity company Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM), obtain a US$400 million credit facility to help fund its recently announced US$1 billion acquisition of a mining company’s water unit.
