Colombian electoral law creates “difficulties” for business, say lawyers

As Colombians head to the polls this weekend, businesses will be looking forward to the country’s unusual pre-electoral restrictions on public contracting being lifted – a system which lawyers say treads a fine line between reinforcing democracy and harming the economy.
