Codelco raises US$1 billion through record sale

Chilean copper producer Codelco has taken counsel from Carey y Cía and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP for the sale of its 40 per cent stake in power company E-CL, in the largest share sale to ever take place on the Santiago stock exchange.
