Chilean and Brazilian firms in Hitachi-ABB US$6.85 billion power deal

Baker McKenzie LLP in London and Tokyo and Trench Rossi Watanabe in São Paulo have helped Japanese electronics giant Hitachi seal the Brazilian and Chilean stages of its US$6.85 billion acquisition of Swiss-Swedish company ABB’s power grid division.
