Chequer vows to fight OAB investigation into Mayer Brown links

The Rio de Janeiro arm of Brazil’s bar association, the OAB, has launched an investigation into Tauil & Chequer Advogados over partner compensation payments received from the US firm with which it is allied, Mayer Brown LLP, on grounds the firm has breached the OAB’s strict rules on tie-ups with foreign firms.
