CADE superintendent: Siemens leniency controversy has been “good thing” for the agency
The failure of Brazil’s competition enforcer, the Administrative Council of Economic Defence, to keep secret a leniency agreement signed by German electronics conglomerate Siemens has not imperiled the agency’s enforcement mission, and has in fact increased the quality and quantity of filings, the authority’s chief investigator says.
