CADE gives go-ahead for education merger

Brazil’s antitrust authority, CADE, has given the green light to the merger of the country’s two largest private education companies, Kroton and Anhanguera, in a deal that was renegotiated to reflect the change in the companies’ market value over a merger review process lasting nearly a year.
