Brazil’s CVM allows companies to disclose information online
Brazil’s securities and exchange commission, the CVM, has introduced new rules allowing publicly held companies to disclose important information through online news sources rather than widely circulated printed newspapers, which lawyers say will help widen access to the country’s capital market.
