Brazilian leg of US$1.95 billion industrial acquisition closes

Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP in New York and Brazil’s Trench, Rossi e Watanabe Advogados have helped US industrial manufacturer Stanley Black & Decker acquire the tool businesses of US consumer goods company Newell Rubbermaid in the Brazilian leg of an international deal worth US$1.95 billion.
