Brazilian education company makes US$353 million Nasdaq IPO

Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP’s offices in São Paulo, New York, Northern California and Washington, DC, and Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados in São Paulo have helped Vasta Platform, a subsidiary of Brazilian education group Cogna, raise US$353 million in its initial public offering on the Nasdaq stock exchange, as the company furthers its spin-off from Cogna.
