Brazil re-examines foreign law firm affiliations
The Brazilian bar has asked all international firms with affiliations to describe how their cooperation works
After a spate of lateral hirings by Brazilian firms linked to US or European firms, the Brazilian Bar association is re-assessing whether foreign firms in the country are compliant with regulations – described by one source as "pushing back" against the lateral hires.
