Brazil ends hyperinflation disputes with historic mediation

At the start of this month, a legal battle between Brazilian depositors and the country’s top five banks over losses to savings sustained during the country’s hyperinflation period came to an end. The historic agreement concludes decades of litigation and potentially resolves more than a million different law suits.
