BNDES inks first long-term financing deal for Guarulhos airport upgrade

The consortium tasked with overhauling Brazil’s busiest airport has retained Pinheiro Neto Advogados to secure project financing worth 3.47 billion reais (US$1.5 billion) as the government rushes to upgrade the country’s airport infrastructure ahead of the World Cup later this year.
