Bilfinger Berger to build second bridge over Panama Canal
The German construction company Bilfinger Berger AG has won the contract to build a second bridge over the Panama Canal. The bridge, due to be completed within two-and-a-half years, will cost an estimated US$90.9 million. The project will be entirely financed by the Panamanian government, with the United Nations Development Program (PNUD) acting as paying agent.
