BATS takes on BM&F Bovespa

Brazil's FreitasLeite Advogados has been hired by global stock exchange operator BATS Global Markets (BATS) and Brazilian asset management group Claritas, which announced on Tuesday that they are looking into creating a new stock exchange with clearing and depository services in Brazil to challenge the country's incumbent, BM&FBovespa.
