Bankrupt BPZ sheds Peruvian oil blocks
Peru’s Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados and the Los Angeles and New York offices of US firm Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP have helped bankrupt Texan oil company BPZ sell off its Peruvian assets as part of a fire sale following its bankruptcy filing, including licences to operate four onshore and offshore oil blocks in the country.
