Bancomext makes US$1 billion bond offer

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP’s New York office, Mexico’s Galicia Abogados and Maples and Calder in Grand Cayman have helped Mexico’s state-run bank and credit agency Bancomext raise US$1 billion through an international bond offering, its first global capital markets foray in more than a decade.
