Argentina’s Supreme Court cuts Clarín down to size
Argentina’s highest court has ruled as constitutional four articles in the country’s controversial media law that will require Grupo Clarín to sell dozens of its media licences – reversing a previous decision from a lower court arguing such a sale would threaten press freedom and potentially opening the door to numerous litigation cases in the future.
