Argentina suffers arbitration blow

Argentina has sustained another defeat at the home of treaty arbitration. On 16 May a panel at the International Centre for the Settlement of International Disputes accepted jurisdiction over a claim against the state, by three foreign companies. The decision leaves Argentina the wrong side of a 14-0 record on such jurisdictional rulings.
