ArcelorMittal spends US$2.2 billion on Brazilian steel assets

The world’s largest steel group ArcelorMittal has hired Mayer Brown LLP in Chicago and Brazilian firms Tauil & Chequer Advogados and Lefosse to buy local counterpart Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) for US$2.2 billion.
