Ally sells remaining international assets for US$4.2 billion

Auto financing company Ally Financial has turned to the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Chilean firm Urenda Rencoret Orrego y Dörr, Brigard & Urrutia Abogados in Colombia, Brazil’s Pinheiro Neto Advogados and Santos, Elizondo, Cantu, Rivera, Gonzalez de la Garza, Mendoza, SC in Mexico for the US$4.2 billion sale of its remaining international operations to General Motor’s financing arm.
