Akuo gets financing for second wind farm in southern Uruguay
Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in Paris, Hodgson Russ LLP in New York and Hughes & Hughes in Montevideo have helped French renewables company Akuo and its Uruguayan subsidiary Glymont obtain a US$82 million loan to finance construction of a wind farm in southern Uruguay – at the same time as Guyer & Regules in Montevideo and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in New York helped Japanese wind farm developer Eurus Energy purchase a stake in the subsidiary.
