Abengoa agrees US$2 billion investment plan for LatAm projects
The New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, Slaughter and May in the UK, Spain’s Uría Menéndez, Brazil’s BMA - Barbosa, Müssnich, Aragão and Chilean firm Larraín Rencoret Urzúa have helped Spanish technology solutions company Abengoa sign a US$2 billion joint venture agreement with Washington, DC energy and infrastructure investor EIG Global Energy Partners to finance renewable and conventional power generation and transmission projects in Brazil, Mexico and Chile.
