14 firms in Gas Natural telecoms divestment

The Madrid office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Pacheco Coto (Costa Rica), Guatemala’s García & Bodán, Nicaragua’s Alvarado y Asociados, Colombia’s Posse Herrera Ruiz, El Salvador’s Arias & Muñoz (El Salvador) and Panama’s Infante & Pérez Almillano have helped UK private equity group Cinven buy the fibre optic network arm of Spanish energy company Gas Natural Fenosa for US$695 million – the biggest private equity buyout in Spain this year.
