The managing director and head of Latin America at private equity investor General Atlantic will deliver the keynote address at the upcoming Latin Lawyer Live 10th Annual Private Equity, which takes place in October in New York.
The conference – which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year – is co-chaired by Todd Crider of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and Jean Michel Enríquez of Mexico’s Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez. It takes place on Tuesday 8 October at Simpson Thacher’s New York office.

Before joining General Atlantic in 2012 Escobari was a managing director at Advent International, where he focused on the financial services sector. Prior to that, he was co-founder and CFO of Submarino.com, a leading Brazilian online retailer that went public on Brazil’s Bovespa and was sold to Lojas Americanas in 2006. He started his career as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.
