Engie gets US$8.7 billion for Petrobras pipeline buy as privatisations gain momentum

Jones Day in New York and São Paulo and Stocche Forbes Advogados in São Paulo have helped French energy conglomerate Engie obtain finance worth US$8.7 billion to conclude its acquisition of Brazil’s largest gas pipeline company TAG after a critical Supreme Court ruling.
