The event is supported by Ritch, Mueller, Heather y Nicolau, SC and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. It will be rounded off by a drinks reception hosted by Von Wobeser y Sierra.

The conference will kick off with a panel on enforcement and anti-corruption in Latin America. Speakers will analyse the spread of multijurisdictional investigations across the region. How to manage risk of prosecution in multiple jurisdictions will be discussed too.

Anti-corruption risk during M&A transactions is next on the agenda. Panellists will assess the necessary steps law firms must take to avert risk exposure through effective due diligence.

Following a networking lunch, the second half of the event will delve into the innovative practices associated with effective compliance. The discussion will include the increasing sophistication of regulators in the area.

In the event’s last panel, speakers will take a closer look at the challenges linked to internal investigations, including budgetary concerns and data privacy restrictions.
