From film screenings to network lunches to social media campaigns, firms across the region celebrated International Women’s Day on Friday. Some of them spoke to Latin Lawyer about how they marked the occasion.

International Women’s Day is held each year on 8 March, but the emblematic day has its roots in something far more combative than the verb “celebrate” might suggest. It is dedicated to the global women’s rights movement and continued efforts to combat gender inequality, a battle that’s far from won across the globe, not least in Latin America.
