Argentine tie-up set to become first NYSE-listed LatAm biotech group

Linklaters in New York and Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal in Buenos Aires have helped Argentine biotech group Bioceres enter a share exchange agreement worth US$456 million with private equity-owned Union Acquisition Corporation (UAC), paving the way for its listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

UAC, which is a special purpose vehicle owned by private equity investors Union Group and Atlantic-Pacific Capital, relied on Arnold & Porter in New York and Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno in Buenos Aires.
