Respected arbitration partner Guido Tawil - one of the leading Argentine disputes lawyers of his generation - has left M & M Bomchil Abogados to practise independently, citing conflicts of interests as a result of his role as an arbitrator in several ongoing disputes as his reason for leaving.

Tawil, who formerly led the administrative, regulatory and arbitration practices at M & M Bomchil and leveraged his experience in energy disputes to build a commendable energy practice, left the firm on 1 November. He was part of the firm’s executive committee.
