UK backs Macri's austerity plan and wants more LatAm trade
The UK’s Minister of State for Europe and the Americas says the country wants to boost its trade ties with Latin America and strengthen its commitment to the region in comments that echo those made by another government official earlier this month.
Minister Alan Duncan made the remarks at a conference hosted by Chatham House in London yesterday. “We should praise the region’s commitment to free trade, which is something the UK would like to take part of as the country leaves the EU,” he said. “We are massively ambitious for all of Latin America.”
