DLA Piper seals deal with Cabanellas Etchebarne to enter Argentina

DLA Piper LLP has signed a cooperation agreement with mid-sized Argentine firm Cabanellas Etchebarne Kelly to establish a presence in Latin America’s third-biggest economy.

DLA Piper announced the tie-up on 15 August. Cabanellas Etchebarne, which is a Latin Lawyer 250 firm that is best known for its high-profile capital markets practice, will now rebrand as DLA Piper in Argentina. It has nine partners and offices in Buenos Aires and New York, where it opened in 2012.
