International firm Kennedys has opened an office in Argentina by absorbing a local firm it has been in association with since 2016, becoming the first international firm to open an office in the country since Mauricio Macri assumed the presidency.

Kennedys formed a formal association with Argentine insurance boutique Alberto Bunge & Associates (ABA) in January 2016. On 1 January 2018, the boutique became a Kennedys office. The London-headquartered firm has a Buenos Aires team led by partner Alberto Bunge, two lawyers and one paralegal, but it is expected to grow in the near future.
